The rhododendron genus has approx. 1,024 species and can be either evergreen or deciduous and most species are native to eastern Asia and the Himalayan region. Some species have become invasive in Ireland and the UK, all shrubs having been introduced and spread through the woodland areas, replacing the natural understory of the lands. They are abundant in The Hollies, Meanwood, and at full bloom in late-spring to early-summer.

Original Artwork on display in the exhibition will be available for collection or delivered after the end of the exhibition in early January 2025 when the venue re-opens after Christmas. Prints are available immediately for collection or delivery.
